Dip it in chocolate...

After months and months of debating to color my hair brown I finally asked my hair dresser to dip my blond tresses in a chocolate color. The result is the picture to the left.

Although the change is not that big, it's major for me a result of having bright blond hair for over three years now. While I probably will go back to my gold tresses, I think the brown will be a nice break for my hair.It feels a whole lot healthier and in better condition. As a result of my new color, I did buy a few new hair products to help nourish it back to health and will post a quick hair haul soon.

Changing my hair color was such a huge decision for me and I did it very slowly by putting low lights and letting my roots grow out. What's your hair story? Do you change your hair color fairly often?

Hope you all have had a lovely weekend.

MAC's MLLE lipstick from the Fashion Flower Collection

MAC's Fashion Flower collection comes out April 28 and one of the lipsticks featured in this collection is MLLE. MLLE has gotten quite a buz and I think it will sell out pretty quickly. MLLE is a repromote and I already have this in my collection (True sign of a MAC addict, right?) so I thought to post a swatch for some of you who are making out a collection "purchase list". MLLE is a light white pink and the formulation is a glaze.

MLLE's pinkish white undertone makes this lipstick the queen of all milky pinks. It's a glaze so it gives the lips an extermily nice sheen and gloss. This is the type of milky pink that looks stunning with a sexy smokey eye. I absolutely recommand buying one of these.
What will you be getting from the Fashion Flower Collection?

Essie California Coral

I'm having a major love affair with coral this spring and this polish just fuels the fire. This is one of Essies's great polishes that go opaque in one coat (I'm wearing two coats below). The color itself is an in between a coral, orange and red color which makes it very unique. As you can see in the pictures below, depending on the lighting it can look red or coral. It's very warm and it really is perfect for spring and summer.

How do you feel about coral polishes?
Do you have any recommendations of your favorite coral polishes?
Hope you all have had an amazing week.

E.L.F eyeshadow palette for MAC shadows?

I'm sure most of you are familiar with E.L.F cosmetics but my local target only recently starting stocking them and I have tested out quite a few of their items. I feel like I'm treasure hunting when I buy these products because their quality is amazing and their price is so very cheap! I'm extremely pleased with the products I have purchases so far so much so that Target has seen a lot of me lately! One of the gems I picked up this week was this four eyeshadow palette meant for E.L.F eyeshadows but I used it for my MAC shadows. The MAC shadows fit great and so do Lorac shadows which I also depot (well I depot everything!). And the price of this palette is only $1.
I'm not much of a bargain shopper, but I think I did pretty good. The e.l.f palette is only $1 and MAC's new ones are now $6. Now it's time for E.L.F to do a 15 color palette. :)
Have you guys tried E.L.F cosmetics and do you have any suggestions for me?
Hope you all have had an amazing Saturday.

NOTD-Orly Confetti

Orly Confetti is a soft vanilla color with a pink undertone. It is another one of those "your nails but better" colors. It applies sheer but it is an easy to apply polish. I am always drawn to these natural/nude type of polishes, and I really do use these quite a bit. They wear well with anything and are perfect to get the polished, well groomed look.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette!

The rollergirl palette is Urban's Decay new offering and it's limited edition. It comes with three natural shades and a hot pink, an eye pencil in the color Whiskey and a lip gloss in the color Crush.
The colors from left to right are:
Woodstock which is a hot pink, Verve which is soft pearl color, Suspect which is a gorgeous golden brown and Darkhorse which is a dark brown color.

All the eyeshadow colors in this palette are limited edition beside woodstock but a couple of them have appeared in other Urban Decay Palettes. The colors are gorgeous and highly pigmented. There are no glittery shadows and the naturals are highly wearable. The palette design is a lot of fun.
What do you think about this palette? Will you be picking this up?
Lots of love
Ansa

A lil Juicy Couture haul

Juicy couture holds a special place in my heart because it's so girly and feminine and I love all things girly.
I recently got this cute little golden cherry ring which is so dainty and feminine and their perfume in Couture Couture so now I own every one of their perfumes.

I purchased the small bottle of the perfume so I can try it out and see how I like it. It's very girly and sweet like all of the Juicy perfumes. It cointains notes of mandarin, orange blossom, pink grape accord, star jasmine, honeysuckle, blushed plum, amber, vanilla and creamy sandalwood.

And the ring...well i just love the ring. Too cute for words!

FOTD

Spring is here and the weather is very nice and warm which equals simple makeup. I purchased some more  Iunovi eyeshadows last week (review to come soon) and absolutely love them. I kept my makeup very simple today and concentrated on the eyes.

Products used:

Face:
1. Laura Mercier secret camouflage. This is a great concealer and for someone like me that dislikes foundation, this is all you need to cover up any areas that need concealing
Eyes:
1. The balm shadylady eyeshadow on the lid in the color Mischievous Marisa a very warm peachy color and i unovi shadow in Rock a golden brown color. Mascara is Makeup Forever in smokey lash-hands down best mascara in the marker.

Swatches: Balm Lady Mischievous Marisa to the left and I unovi Rock to the right.

Lips:
MAC's plushglass in girl loves boy. Gorgeous bubble gum pink

That's it. I absolutely adore i unovi in Rock. It makes me think of woodwinked in a way, because it's that shimmery golden but so much more color. An inuvoi eyshadow review is coming up soon.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

March Faves

I'm so late in posting this but here it goes. These are my March faves:
1. MAC MSF in medium deep. I use this as bronzer. I'll explain. The MSFs naturals really look ...natural! I know schocking that a product actually does what it says but these MSFs are the most natural looking powder I have ever tried. I love a natural skin so it makes sense for me to use this as a bronzer and love it.
2. Two of my favorite eyeshadows in all that glitters and sable. I have hit pan on both...several times. All that glitters is a shimmery sand color and sable is a golden purple brown.
3. Bobbie Brown gel liners in chocolate shimmer. All of the Bobbie Brown gel liners are my HG eyeliner. Highly recommend. This is one I enjoy the most with sable. The chocolate brown brings in the brown in sable. They look stunning together.

 4. Tarte Amazonian 12 hour blush in tipsy. I have three of these and I plan on getting all the colors. They stay on forever! This is as of now my HG blush. I absolutely love the. Will do a review on these soon.

5. Also a quick mention for Laura Mercier cream shadow in gold. This is such a multidimensional color with high pigmentation. It's gold with tons of flecks. Absolutely stunning. For all of your cream shadow lovers like me, this is a must have! Highly recommend.
6. Origins ginzing eyecream. This is amazing for dark circles. It's one of my favorite eye cream, but I'm an eye cream junkie so I have a favorite one weekly. This is perfect for spring/summer time though because it's not think like Kiehl's avocado eye cream. It's light and very refreshing and it really brightens.

What are your march favorites?

NOTD-OPI sweetheart

I love this polish. I truly adore soft pink colors that look natural on and this is on that line of polish similar to OPI Bubble Bath or Essie Ballet Slippers. It's a romantic milky pink color. It is one of those polishes that goes with anything and can be worn all year around.

Like most soft milky colors, two coats are necessary. I think that's to be expected with these type of colors because they are more on the natural side. They require a bit of careful applications because the first coat comes out very strickey but the second coat seals the color and makes it opaque.
What do you think of this color?

Hope you all have had a lovely weekend :)
