NOTD Nail inc Porchester Square swatches and review

This is such a unique color. It's one of those dirty colors that are a mixture of lilac, mushroom, and taupe, or somewhat of a chic greige. I've gotten so many compliments while wearing this color. I think of this as a more wearable "metro chic" by Sephora by OPI, a dark color that's not too dark to wear for spring or summer. See swatches below:

I love this color.

Hope you all have had a lovely day.

Makeup For Ever Smokey Lash Mascara in the Very Black review and swatches.

Hi everyone,
I recently went to Sephora for a little haulage, and decided to rekindle my love with an old friend...i'm talking about Makeup Forever Smokey Lash. I hadn't purchased this mascara in a few months. I wore it this morning and realized why I love it so much. This mascara is so black!!! It makes your lashes dark pretty much immediately. Whilst I have a lot of lashes, they are very very light. Being born a blonde, my hair got darker, but my lashes remained light. Another big plus is that this mascara voluminizes so well and it lengthens at the same time. Some cones...the price. This is not a cheap mascara, and it is very very difficult to remove.

Here is a picture of me with no mascara:
And after using Makeup Forever:
Here is the wand of this mascara:

Overall, if you're looking to splurge on a mascara, I would highly recommend this.

Hope you all have had a lovely Monday.

Michael Todd True Organics Lemon Tonner

I recently purchased a few items from Michael Todd and have been amazed by the quality of this products. I'm very fickle with skincare as I have quite sensitive skin that's prone to break outs, but at the same time I am a health nut so the fact that the name had true organics in it sucked me in. I try to be good where I can with skincare/beauty care. I have used this toner for a month now and it has blown me out of the water.
The toner is made with extracts of lemon, oranges and cranberries. I know lemon is amazing at brighteninig your skin. In fact it's great to use to help reduce those pesky post acne discoloration. It also has black willow tree extract known to promote clear skin.

Here is what I have noticed since using it...It keeps my skin very clear but also it keeps moisturized. Typically toners that are meant to keep my skin clear, also dry it out, but this leaves it extremely balanced. I'm excited to try more things from this brand, and I highly recommend this toner.

Hope you all have had a lovely Saturday.

The heath benefits of Matcha Green Tea

I'm a strong believer that beauty starts within, with good nutrition, exercise and a happy life. One of the things I love to keep me healthy is tea. There are so many health and beauty benefits to drinking tea.

My tea of choice this summer has been Matcha Green Tea. Matcha green tea is super high in antioxidants.  It contains six times the antioxidants of goji berries, seven times the antioxidants of dark chocolate, seventeen times of the wild blueberries and sixty times of the spinach. These numbers are insane!

What do antioxidants do? They help you keep healthy, prevent disease and keep you strong and beautiful. Green tea contains potent antioxidants called catechins. The most powerful catechins found in green tea EGCG is a very powerful anti-carcingen.

What else does green tea do. It keeps you young! One of the locales in the world where people live the longes is Okinawa, Japan known for it's consumption of Matcha Green Tea. Those are but a few benefits of this tea.

I'm a strong believer that beauty starts with good nutrition. So here is to a good glass of Matcha!

Hope you all have had an amazing week. Stay healthy and beatufiul.

June Faveourites

Hi Everyone,

This month has been great in the beauty product department finds and I have discovered some great products both new and some existing in my make up collection.

Here are some products I loved this month:

1. Lush New Shampoo. This is a bar shampoo designed to promote new hair growth. I discovered this in March and fell in love with it. It cleans up the hair so well while keeping it very smooth and moisturized.

2. Davines Hair Oil. This oil is amazing. It softens and provides a ton of shine while keeping your hair very natural and without weighing it down at all.

3. Urban Decay primer potion in the color sin. This is such a gorgeous shimmery taupe meets champagne color. And not only is the color amazing, it keeps your shadow put for a long time. I ran 6 miles with this on and my eyeshadow stay put the entire time.

4. Two MAC must have eyeshadows in the color Naked Lunch and Satin Taupe. Naked lunch is an amazing shimmery pinky oyster color while Satin Taupe is the perfect shimmery silver taupe. I love both of these for that glowing eye look which is perfect during summer

5. MAC creamsheen glass in the color "Just Superb". The reason I love this so much is that it's very glowing and pretty with an amazing vanilla smell while providing no sticky feeling at all.

Hope you all have had a lovely June.

NOTD - Zoya Jacqueline

Hi lovelies,
When the trend of yellow polishes became so popular last year, I just couldn't get on it. While they look amazing on everyone else, and while there is nothing more happy than a bright yellow polish, I couldn't  stand it on my nails. However, this year brands are releasing a more soft wearable twist on yellow...Meet Zoya Jacqueline..it provides the same beautiful happy yellow but it is lighter and it looks so natural on the nails.

I love this polish. Feels like summer and sunshine. Hope you all are having a great week.

Barry M Peach Melba Nail Paint swatches and a review

One of my friends recently went to England and I gave her a list of items to bring back, one of which was a Barry M. nail paint. This is my first experience with Barry M and I must say....I wish they would sell this brand in the US. The quality of this nail paint was extremely impressive. The nail polish or nail paint that I got is Peach Melba which is as the name suggests a peach. It's gorgeous for spring and summer. It's a pastel color that looked great with one coat.
This nail polish is so such a sweet color and it's lovely for this time of the year.

Hope you all have had a great Monday.
