Love this color for Autumn. The application is really nice too. It takes two coats only for opaque results.

Butter London Old Blighty Polish
Yet another perfect color for Autumn, Butter London Old Blighty is a gorgeous creamy and rich red brick color with a brown undertone. I love that this isn't a pink based red but more of brown based because it makes it a bit more unique than most reds in the market and it looks quite sexy on the nails. Another big pointer for this polish is that this is a pretty good dupe for one of my all time favorite but discontinued Essie color in "crock the rock" which I have posted about several times on this blog because I absolutely love it. See below for both polishes side by side.

Butter London Brown Sugar Swatch
September marks the transition to more autumn colors for clothes, makeup and nail polish for me. The weather has already started to cool off and most stores have started to put out Halloween items which really excites because I absolutely love Autumn. The next few posts of the nails of the day are going to be some of my favorite fall polishes. I'm kicking off with one of my all time favorite fall and Christmas colors which is Butter London "Brown Sugar". Brown Sugar is a beautiful cranberry shade with gorgeous gold, silver and purple glitter. I also took a picture in direct sun light to capture the beauty of this color.

Maine In September - Inspiring Autumn Pictures
I'm so excited it's September and Autumn is around the corner. Here are some pictures I took last September in Maine. Looking forward to Autumn bringing lots of hiking, festivals, lots of chai tea and pumpkin spice late, colorful tree leaves and a lot more jogging outside.
Happy September.
Lots of love

Getting back into running long distance...and it feels good.
So after indulging quite a bit during vacation (just a few picks of the many indulging foods we had tsk tsk!!) it is time to get back into shape.

I absolutely love running and after taking a week off to relax and enjoy the beach I am back at it...this is a very sleepy me this morning at am ish. I'm back at running 4-6 miles a day and doing a 10+ miles on Saturday. I ran my last marathon in Maine this May and now that Autumn is around the corner, I'm thinking about registering for another race soon.
I aslo absolutely love yoga especially hot yoga and it's something I try to do twice a week. The stretching helps loosen some of the tight muscles that are a result of running. Looking forward to posting about a new race soon.

Illamasqua lipstick in Obey - Swatches
As summer is nearing the end, I am reaching for some bright neon colors to enjoy before I swatch to darker berry shades. Illamasuqe Obey is a highly pigmented bright poppy orange shade. The color is perfect for spring and summer and it makes me think of summer days on the beach enjoying lemonades and watermelon.
The color is one of the most pigmented lipsticks I own. I tab my finger to apply this instead of applying it straight from the tube. I absolutely love this shade for spring and summer and if you're looking for a very bright poppy summer shade, this is the perfect one to pick up.

Davines NaturalTech Energizing Gel
This year I've decided to let my hair go more to its natural stage and I challenged myself not to use any heat or any products that contain silicones. Once I stopped using those products and heat, I noticed my hair was quite dry and damaged (masked by all the silicones and heat) so I knew the only solution to growing out strong healthy hair was to remove the damaged hair. So two weeks ago I went to my hair dresser and asked her to cut off all the dry damaged part. Here is a before and after pictures.
I'm now in the market to test out some products that would help my hair grow fast and healthier and one of the products recommended to me by my hair dresser is Davines Naturaltech Energizing gel. It comes in a tube and you're meant to massage it into your scalp to stimulate the scalp and provide nutrients to the scalp and hair.
Here are the active ingredients:

Here are the active ingredients:
- Beta-glucans - polysaccarides that boost the protection of the cells;
- Caffeine phytoceuticals - stimulate the cellular methabolism and improve blood circulation;
- Sirtuins - longevity proteins with a strong anti-oxidant action;
I've only just started using it so I will report back after 6 weeks in any results I've seen from it, but I'm hoping for quick hair growth and lucius hair.
Hope you all are having an amazing day.

Birthday FOTD and French food
Last week was my birthday and we were in Amelia Island. We ate dinner at the local French restaurant called Le Clos. This must be my fourth birthday I've celebrated at this restaurant and I absolutely love it. Florida is always warm so I wore a very simple outfit both shirt and skirt from Ann Taylor and shoes from BCBG.
Below is the diner starting with salad, to grouper and creme brule.

That evening we got some rocky road chocolate fudge and enjoyed the sunset.
I absolutely love French food. It's so rich and so delicious. We had a great day in Amelia and looking forward to going back.
