MAC FOREVER MARILYN BEAUTY POWDER

One of the items I purchased from the latest MAC's Marilyn Monroe Collection was a beauty powder called Forever Marilyn. This is a very soft peachy highlighter with tons of micro, finally milled white shimmery glitter. I really do like this beauty powder. I find that most of the time the beauty powders released with collections  are geared towards "collectors" and lack pigmentation, but this is an exception. It's pigmented and it hilights beautifully. I wore it on top of my blush for that gorgeous glow within...see pics below for swatches and close up of the powder and the packaging.
Hope you all have had an amazing week and thank you for reading.

Butter London Fairy Lights

Butter London Fairy Lights is such a unique color. It's a metallic rose taupe color that looks different depending on how the light catches it. I don't have anything in my collection like this, and I have been obsessed with this color lately.
Hope you all are having a lovely Sunday

Hi everyone,
MAC just came out with the new Marilyn Monroe Collection. I haven't had a chance to properly test the items because I only got them today so for this post, I'm going to only share pictures and swatches. I'm going to start with the two eyeshadows that I purchased and they are "Preferred Blonde" which is a gorgeous shimmery golden shadow and "How to Marry" a beautiful white shimmer shadow. See pics below. Hope you all have had a lovely day.

Urban Decay Rock and Breathless Swatches

Hi everyone,
I've already made a post about the new UD build your own palette in Rock but I also purchased Breathless which is a Sephora exclusive.
As part of the holiday collation, Urban Decay has released three of these build your own palettes (I will do a review of Melt soon)

Below are the swatches of Rock and Breathless and also the video featuring both of these and The Vice Palette.
Hope you all have a lovely day.

OPI GERMAN-ICURE SWATCHES

Hi everyone,
Hope you all have had an amazing week. I have been training to run an ultra marathon in November which has been a lot of fun but also hard work.
OPI recently launched the German collection which I thought was composed of some great colors. I really refrained though and only picked the one that I thought best represented fall which is German-Icure.
German-Icure is a very rich burgundy red polish with tons of gold shimmers running thru. It makes me think of a ruby. It's fairly dark but in the sunshine all the shimmers come out to play. I think this will be a good transition to fall color. The first picture below is indoors whereas the other two are in direct sunshine.
All in all, I think this is gorgeous color.
Hope you all have a lovely Saturday

Essie Barefoot and Topless

This has to be the queen of the nude polishes. A very pretty warm nude that looks stunning with long nails I find. I have a strong love for nude polishes as it is because I find them easy to wear and they go well with any type of clothing as well as any type of jewelry. Sometimes, it's just nice to not have to think about things and I find nude polishes to be one of those easy choices. It just looks well with everything and it gives the nails and instant polish and clean look.

What I love about Essie's barefoot and topless is that this goes opeque with two coats which a lot of nude polishes do not. It also is a very pretty soft color that has enough color to look nice and clean but not make your hands look dead. It looks stunning with a tan but it also works on me when I am very pale. This polish would definitely make the top 10 polish list and its a must have for me.

Hope you all are having a beautiful and happy day.

Urban Decay Build Your Own Palette Rock

Hi Everyone,
I was just browsing the Urban Decay website as you do (you know you're a makeup junkie when stalk websites :)) and came across the new Urban Decay palettes.
Urban Decay has released two new palettes that are limited edition. These are the same idea as the last palette meaning they are "build your own" palette but do come with one eyeshadow. Whereas the last palette had 6 slots to fill and one shadow, this has 4 slots and one shadow. The palettes are Rock and Melt named after the eyeshadow they come with.

Rock comes with an oyster taupe shads. The palette itself is metal with tons of jewles on top, a very pretty design in my opinion.

Melt comes with a peach shadow and the palette design is gorgeous hot fuscia and red roses.

Below is the picture of Rock eyeshadow.

Will order Melt and do swatches and a full review once I get that it in the mail.
What can I say, I do love Urban Decay eyes shadows.

Hope you all have had an amazing Thursday.

Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Excess Mascara!

For the last 6 months I have been using Armani's eyes to kill mascara and since the first day I used it, it was love at first swipe! There are a lot of reasons why I fell in love with mascara. See pic below for an idea of how it looks on the lashes and the mascara wand.

According to Armani "Fine Fluid Micro-fil technology creates intensely captivating lash texture. Micro waxes combined with a finesses agent allow for smooth and easy application revealing weightless volume for lashes". All sounds good to me!

Long list of reasons why I fell in love with this mascara:
1. It provides dramatic lashes with one swipe unlike other mascaras that you have to reply several times to see dramatic "false lash" results.

2. Even though is very dark and dramatic, it washes off very easy....I would dare to say easier than any other mascara I have ever tried ( I love super dark, dramatic mascaras but they are difficult to remove). Although I love Benefit "They're Real" mascara washing it off at night can be such a pain!

3. It keeps the lashes soft.

4. It thickens and lengthens at the same time. It eliminates the need to use more than one mascara to achieve a flawless result.

5. It doesn't smudge

I have tried all three of the Armani's Eyes to Kill mascaras; the original, excess, and stretch and I love all three of them equally for different reasons. They are all brilliant.

Hope you all have had a lovely Wednesday and as always thank you for reading.

Burberry eyeshadow in Pale Barely and Midnight Brown swatches

Hi everyone,
Hope you all are having an amazing day! I wanted to share some swatches of some eyeshadows I have been loving lately. They are by Burberry and they are (at the moment) my favorite eyeshadow not just by any brand but also by Burberry. The Burberry shadows that I have tried are very pigmented, very smooth, very buttery, gorgeous colors, non creasing and long lasting. There is no cons to these shadows other than the price.

If you were to splurge on one eyeshadow by Burberry, start with Pale Barley. Pale Barely is a golden bronzy color that looks amazing on the lid, crease with or without another eyeshadow. I can not get enough of this color. It has a subtle shimmer to it but it is a high quality very grown up shimmer.
What I pair this with mostly is Burberry Midnight Brown. This is taupe brown with a ton of shimmer but again very subtle. A very dark and pigmented color, this is perfect for the crease.
I purchased mine at Nordstrom and I have since purchased two more in the color Chestnut and Rosewood which are also very lovely. I wish share some swatches of those later.

Hope you all are having a lovely day.
